Boe Gin Its origins date back to the 17th century when Professor Franz de la Boe succeeded in creating a medicine that cured a third of all illnesses, an infusion of grain alcohol, juniper berries and a series of botanicals, obtained by two distillations and a third distillation in which the alcohol in which the botanicals have been macerated in a Carterhead copper pot still is vaporised. It began production in 2010 and is produced in Doune, Scotland. The use of juniper berries of the highest quality is one of the maxims of this distillery, located in the village of Throsk near Stirling. slightly bitter, notes of juniper, pepper and the most obvious botanicals that give way to nuts and almonds.
