Boe Gin Its origins date back to the 17th century when Professor Franz de la Boe succeeded in creating a medicine that cured a third of all illnesses, an infusion of grain alcohol, juniper berries and a series of botanicals, obtained by two distillations and a third distillation in which the alcohol in which the botanicals have been macerated in a Carterhead copper pot still is vaporised. It began production in 2010 and is produced in Doune, Scotland.
